THE JUNIOR-'PRO'/AM - FORMAT
Held on the day before the tournament, the Junior ‘Pro’/Am gives amateur golfers the chance to play with one of the promising young talents in golf today. Juniors are invited to play as the ‘Pro’ off scratch in a team with three amateurs playing off full handicap in a ‘team stableford’.
The event raises funds for the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters Charitable Trust and gives amateurs the chance to experience at first hand the inspiration, commitment and talent of these top international junior golfers.
The day starts with registration where competitors will be presented with their ‘goody bag’ and shirt, followed by breakfast and then off to the tee for a shotgun start.
After the game a fabulous lunch, hosted by Sir Henry Cooper until his death in May 2011, takes place in the marquee. Entertainment is provided by a comedian followed by a charity auction, with a chance to bid for valuable items and sporting memorabilia.
Prizes are awarded both to the winning teams and to the top Junior ‘Pro’. This is a day of day of exceptional golf with full corporate hospitality throughout.
